Day 117 - Magazine Street

Daisy and I had a nice lazy Tuesday morning at home, then we headed down to Magazine street to walk in the rain and window shop. We met my cousin Andrew for lunch at Gott Gourmet Cafe, where I had the most decadent shrimp and grits I've ever imagined - it was filled with gouda and topped with a lobster butter sauce - over the top in the best of ways. After lunch we kept walking in the rain, taking pictures, and then we stopped in to visit with Aunt Vicki, chatting and playing with Gus and Gretal. Daisy and I had plans to go back out in the evening, but were feeling way too lazy so we stayed home and talked with Cate, Joe, Brett, and Sarah while watching the K State game instead - a very nice end to a fun day of walking!

I wonder if you can even staple up new ones at this point?

Do people still say this or is it a holdover from 10 years ago?

Daisy with our box of macaroons from Sucre, on Magazine. They were so tasty, particularly the pistachio one
They also had some pretty fancy pastries and gelato that I'm looking forward to trying next time I'm in town
